Artelocat was born from a fusion of my nickname “Arielo” and two things I’ve always loved deeply – art and cats.

Hi! My name is Ariel, and I grew up in Aotearoa New Zealand. I first discovered digital art at 13 years old after receiving a drawing tablet as a gift, and I haven’t stopped creating ever since.

Inspired by animals, nature and storytelling, Artelocat is a growing illustrated world filled with playful warmth and curiosity.

Through animation and illustration, I hope to share hope, joy, and celebrate our animal friends.
